diffrent colour faces 4 me clocks
escort cosworth bonnet vents
bucket seats with harnists (not sure werther 2 get these any more)

a think thats all the mods 4 now but an sure ill want more lol

looks good mate. I suggest changing the LEDS for white ones tho,or removing them altogether,the washer jets are terrible.Clean that engine bay up and it'll be sexual,check my topic to see just how ghood the escort engine bay can look,they can look even better than mine actually,mine needs t-cutting

have u changed back to white sidelights aswell? i recommend.Also i recommend getting to a scrappy/ebay and changing to an Si or Ghia fron oval grille one day,makes it a million times better IMO

are going to do much to the power soon?

with respect to power mate dont expect a power increase from the 1.6, so either change the engine (later date) and mod it with crossover stuff,induction exhaust etc or just do backbox and induction and run it til u can afford a better car. Please dont chip it or add cams etc as u'll only gain a few BHP,and cams and chip are a lot of money for no power

scoop i mean engine change, 1.8 130 spec, 2.0zt and the likes.

no i havent changed it bk 2 white side lihts an the honycomb frount grill is the grill i want . n a probily wount do anythink 2 the enin yet a think its powerfull enough 4 now its got a 1.6zt in it bt maby in a fuw years a might get a proper gti or somethink like that.

GTI=waste of insurance money. The Si is the same but without the kit (which u know can be bought for pittence)the leather,and the ABS and much lower ins grp. I recomend a 2.0 swap mate. Wish i'd done it now. Cheap as chips and makes the car "quick" (sub 8.0 to 60)

1.8 is a good engine and with 130 spec its nice,but its cheaper to go 2.0

so ur sayin keep my car an just put a 2.0 in it? an wats the spec on a 2.0

2.0 is 136BHP@5250RPM (or thereabouts) meaning u get 135-136lb/ft of torque so it pulls like a train

i recomend it mate.it only costs a few hundred quid like

mite get that then scoop another thing 2 save up 4 lol

if your handy with a set of spanners for a complete engine change with ecu/wiring it would cost approx 250notes diy style. on top of engine cost the cambelt 25quid (pound sign aint workin) oil 25quid, filter 3quid.

i must admit tho i'm closing my options to a mk6 essy 2.0 or a mk2 fiesta 2.0zetec

ZETECing a mk2 fez will be a bit more difficult,yet a better achievement,and also faster. But less comfy? both are good choices amte. But i recommend the scort,obv

Like the clocks and dials mate,however i think uve broke ur temp needle lol. And is it me or is the right half not lit well at all. What u doing rear light wise? i recomend a slight tint on the bottom half of ur standard lights mate

on the temp needle when i turn the engin on it goes bk 2 normil an i broke the lights in the dash when takin it apart so av got 2 by some more an a want l.e.d rear lights 4 it scoop

Get some LEDs for the clocks mate,Ive got some blue LEDs for my dash but theyre not the right fit so im either gonna adapt em or just buy the right ones. Get yerself on escortevolution.co.uk mate and get inspired

were about would they go in the dash scoop

everythin that lights up can be made to light a different colour.I'd like all mine to be blue

Main speedo bulbs are best mod to do,just swap em for twist fit 12V LEDs in the colour of ur choice. See evo for more details

I prefere your old grill, I had one and never wanted the honeycomb type.

An awful lot of red in there kris mate. Deffo agree on blingin it up. Paint the rocker red,get stainless plug cover,and blacken the black bits. whats the induction cone done for the performanc/noise

its from motor world dazza. an the cone filter is mostly 4 the noise but a havent had it on the road yet so a dono wat the noise or the performanc will b like yet.

certianly abit of emphisis on red there! i prefer the honeycomb to the slat one aswell. if your going to try and squeeze more power oot of the 1.6 then i'd suggest a power boost valve. altough it does increase your power by much it removes the awfull flat spot at 3-4 grand.

hmm lets hope they fit, as the headlights in that pic are from a Mk3 Fiesta (Maybe its an example picture).

Keep us informed how well they fit, Iv heard from a few people there are to fit since the headlight glass is easily breakable when forced.

Kris i do not mean to offend you in any way but i dont think angel eyes should be on anthing apart from bmw's that also goes for lexus lights.

I would of rather you bought some nice bulbs as i think they look better.

no there not wired up yet as a dont think there is any wireing in the car 4 them but a will b getting them wired up next year probily

kris,to find the wiring take the bumper off and look around behind the bumper for a blue plug, it may or may not be there.if it is there will also be a plug behind ur fog light switch which plugs into the double fog switch u'll need to get from a scrappy. Failing that u cud have it wired by an auto electrician using either the double switch or an aftermarket switch. unless of course u have the knowhow to fit em urself? its simple anyway

i should of looked when i had the bummper off yesterday when a was fitting the spottys an a got the double plug aswell from the scrappys. is there an easyer way 2 find the wires scoop coz its a pain in the arss takin the bumper off? an the wire in the dash is it a pinky/purple colour

Lookin good mate, just what it needs to make it look more "finished", I think they give a car a less bland look. Even if their not connected, they do the job asthetically lol!

they r comein 2moz 2 get finger prints an it was rund the back of mine an a think it was teenages coz they was on a push bike an theres a shoe print in some sand an it matchs the 1 on the side of me car

i think it looks best if u just smooth the tailgate,and sort ur foglight out some other way. And do u know u have to drill a hole as the screws dont line up properly

yeh kris, debadge the back an get the door handles etc what matty sed it'll look soo gd if ye did that. Doesnt take mch to take the badges off so ye cud do that quite easy.

the blankinking plates on the boot lid, is there nothing you can do to them

I preferd it the way it was. Think the main problem is the badges,they all look odd and out of place,mainly due to the fact theyre not in the exact spot they shud go, and the wrong font of the GTI badge adds to that, howcome u smoothed the recess out then refitted the ford badge? cos now the ford badge looks out of place too.its how u want it tho and thats all that matters

the boot was d-badged but i just took the badges off me old work car when i had 2 give it back an stuck them on mine. an the recess was already smothed off b4 i got the car scoop

no that is a bush that is infront of were i park the car. av had 2 cut in 2 the bonnet an then glue them on i did give them a spray a fuw months ago but they will need sprayin again when smoothed in though.

I dunno, personally, I'm not keen on black splitters they just look like a standard part of the design, whereas sprayed, they stand out and make the car look more unique I guess

Yeah I see what Joe means, my Clio had a splitter on as standard (although it came off when I was fiddling lmao) and it was black. They look the business when they are colour coded as they stand out more and make the car look lower to the ground lol.
