thats alot of 'sexi' tease

Looks nice, I welcome anyone to put a Cosworth kit on a Escort since its not an easy job to be done - It kinda scares most people off.

Have you considered using only the Cosworth lower spoiler? This is what I was going to do to an Escort I had.

Oh and it appears that someone has Uzi'd your bonnet tease

Another white 3 door,wahay!

Looks to be a very nice project. Wouldnt put bumpers and bonnets on an escort again myself (having been there done that) but what you've done is rather tasteful. That spoiler looks a bit steep (like an airbrake rather than a spoiler) and if u tilted it correctly it could look VERY good. U only have to look at mike C's car on www.escortevolution.co.uk to see how good an escort can look

Respect to ur fella for doing the cossie arches.........and all the bodywork himself.

What engine size and model is the base car?

i may make myself sound like a right turnip now but the spoiler the bf has is a twin blade and the one in the picture uve posed above is a single blade?? but we have tryed to angel the spoiler differntly but it kills the speed of the car.

bonnet is in the process of being cut differntly now {littrally in the process just gone down to the workshop and hes got grinder in hand :S} and i will get piccys of that up as soon as i can laugh

thanks for all the nice comments its good to see a site with the apreciation of modding and who can also know the differnces between there ass n there elbow!!!!

how have u been angling it differently. Making it steeper? the steeper it is the more drag is created. U need to bring the front of the spoiler up,even if its just a few degrees it will make it look better and go faster. At the minute that is just looking odd and seriously messing with the airflow, the angle of attack is far too steep so it wont be letting air thru it it'll just be bouncing air off it violently

Scoops got a good point, with the way it's angled in that first pic it will slow you down.

Love the cossie arches, I think they make the car.

yer get rid of it, you only need some thing like that when your doing over 100mph and well, need i say more !

ah brings back the memories of owning an escort, intressting combination of arches and bumpers look forward to seeing it sprayed and in the flesh.

i reckon a streetfighter spoiler wud suit that car down to the ground. Looking at the car as a whole i think that spoiler doesnt even suit it. The blue car above does pull that spoiler off,but not many can,and i doubt this one will.Streetfighter spoiler wud be the dogs

can someone find me a pic of a streetfighter spoiler...im cookin tea for about 5people and im too lazy to look for one whilst cookin the tea hahahaha thankyou please xx

Looks like a good project.

Like Dazza said its not easy to put a cossie kit on a escort but when done right which yours seems to be so far it looks the dogs.

Have you or are you going to use spacers to fill the wheel arches or are the alloys you are getting wide???

PS where are you from??

Just noticed why ur cossie kit looked wierd the other day. Its not sposed to be wide at the back of the door, its sposed to taper in gently. Couldnt put me finger on that for days, and now i know why another cossie kitted mk6 looks wierd. U gonna widen the door too?
