yeah but how many kitted escorts do u see around? Not many kits available for them either so u'd expect every1 to have the same kit, alright theres a fair few scorts on CW but other than that u wont find many at a show for instance, i bet at the nationals there was probably about 80 corsas or more with a lot using the same bits, but there wudda only been a few scorts and they wud be pretty individually styled. not like having 20 combat kitted corsas in the 1 place

the reason why escorts rnt modded the same as corsas is they achieved perfection with the RARE Cosworths. The corsa Gsi just wernt gud enough. No body shud really bothers with the rest. 2 b honest ur in 1 huge big glass house when u start talkin about common cars. yes its a common car.The best selling car of its time and probably still the best sold car EVER.
But its not that much of a modders car.It is rising in popularity an awful lot these days as i think the powers that be are recognising it as a car with potential to make money on that they never cashed in on til now. And modders dont buy it for the reason that you dont really have a choice of what to do to it. I think there are about 5 or 6 bodykits for this car and they aint much cop.GTI styling and work on the general asthetics of the car to make it lovely and shiney and u have a winner. IE/This car from FF (engine shot)
