A plan to widen the road to six lanes each way...

Quote
A government commissioned study recommended widening the road from four to six lanes in each direction, but ministers believed a new tollway would be less disruptive to motorists
What are your veiws guys as we use this stretch of motorway when we goto the Nationals & the USC do you think that this would help us to do a rollin road block (block all 6 lanes at 40mph) <img border="0" alt="[Roll around the floor laffin]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions065.gif" /> to show are presents and to get noticed <img border="0" alt="[Roll around the floor laffin]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions065.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Roll around the floor laffin]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions065.gif" />

This is well well overdue, if anyone uses the M6 they will know what a nightmare it has become over the last few years as traffic volume has significantly increased. I use the M6 often and it has become a fricken nightmare, somethink needs to be done to improve the traffic flow on one of the buziest motorways in the U.K.

yeah maybe it does but your just shifting the problem from one section of the motorway to another, as this will just keep getting congested as well, What are they going to do?
Keep widening everytime it gets congested ?
