Are these like for like oils as a lot of cars now use the expensive synthetic oils? If so then Wow!

Morrisons petrol stations are also good value for 1L of branded oil.

I order all my oil from Eurocarparts - online.

Castrol Magnatec 5w30 - Fully Synthetic for the Beemer, £21 for 4 litres.

They do cheaper oils, most grades for under £20 for 4 or 5 litres, and delivery is free.

Asda have Castrol GTX 4l for £12 at the moment.

What grade though?

Im guessing 10w40, which is a pretty common oil for non turbo, petrol cars, but be aware that oil is not just oil, and different cars, especially performance, or turbo'd cars, and turbo diesel cars need a different grade.

Also remember that you shouldnt mix different grades of oil, if your car was serviced at its last oil change with 5w30, then that is what it should be topped up with smile

If the ASDA stuff is the right grade for your car, then that price is pretty cheap for Castrol oil smile

I think it's the 10w40 yes.
