Hello!
O/s/r Brake caliper on my 2003 Peugeot 307 1.4hdi has seized, does anyone know anywhere/anyone local who can unseize or should I just get a replacement from local scrappy?
Ta!

It's usually the hand break lever on the caliper that seizes up, your better off with a replacement to be honest

Depending on your competency they can be reconditioned.

Generally the dust seals split allowing water to get at the piston. You can remove the piston, clean it up and rebuild the caliper with new seals.

However, it's quite a common car, so in your case it's probably quite cheap to buy a good 2nd hand one and save the hassle of stripping it down and rebuilding it.
