I've been given a Sony XR-C450RDS car radio. I want to use it from a 12v battery in a location away from the car. All I want to know is where to attach the +ve supply.(-ve ground) There is a multi pin connector socket at the back of it. WHICH of the many pins is the power input?? There is a basic diagram on the casing but does not show the individual pins and what they do.

I don't want to let the Smoke Genie out of the box by making a wrong connection! HELP!

The Sony car radios usually employs a mini connector of their own design on the back, which then goes to a standard ISO socket.
