Had a mini disaster at the weekend, 2.5 litres of paint spilt into the car boot when I had to brake hard on the way home from B & Q.

Have managed to get all of the liquid paint out now but the boot carpet is naturally very stained.

Can anyone recomend somwhere local where I can buy a piece of suitable carpet to put in the boot please?

I just need a about 1.5 x 1.5 metres, I can use the old carpet as a template to cut it.
Thanks

you could try a local scrap yard for a replacement carpet...

If that fails, I'd see about going to actual household carpet stores and seeing if they have any offcuts. Should be mega cheap as they'll not be able to use them again, except as budget rugs perhaps.

+1 for scrapyard. If there's nothing in the ones around here do an ebay search for "xxxxxx breaking" where xxxxxx is the make and model of your car.

Thanks,

I did have a quick look on ebay but only searced using the manufacturers part number. I will try again and see who is breaking the particular model
