Hi all, looking to get my car windows tinted but can't decide on where to go to get it done. Torn between Total Tinting in Bromborough and Elite Films in Green Lane.

Can anyone recommend either? Or anywhere else?

Used total tint as well. They will not do the driver and passenger fronts as its illegal and they had vosa round telling them they can't do fronts.

Over the years I have used several firms here & Liverpool. Total Tinting were the latest. They did a very good job at a good price ( I got several quotes) would recommend them

I like the excuses tinted car window owners use to justify their reasons for having it done....

dont waste your money,it will under value your car, when i look for a new car i steer well clear of this sort of thing.and especially skull dust caps,on the bright side you will grow out of this in a few years

Will it affect your live in any way? NO
Will it cause you any harm? NO
Will you be driving it? NO
Will you be paying for it? NO

So what does it matter to you?

I think we have established you wont be buying the op's car.

The original question was, what is the best place to get tinting done. Not asking what people think of tinting.

Didn't realise I'd made an excuse. Don't need to justify it either. I like it and that's that.

That's your opinion. It makes absolutely no difference to the value of the car, especially as seen as there's an option to have privacy glass fitted anyway.

Don't patronise me. Thanks.

I'm not a tit, but I own a pair.

I'm a female in my 30s with a decent job and a decent car, and when I bought the car I did so because it had tinted back windows. It looks good on the car and it keeps the sun off my kids in summer.

Sorry to break the stereotype.

raftl brilliant!

But thank you for your comments, I totally agree with you. People on here don't know if I'm an 18 year old lad or 65 year old grandad! (I'm neither for the record... ) I just want them doing for my own reasons.
