Any one know who is good at repairing coolant hoses?

I have a rover 75 and the hose next to the turbo has rubbed through and a replacement part (like rocking horse poop) is £120!!!!

Have had tape round it but only lasted a week.

Mucho gracias

Steve

Looks like the hose is worth more than the car lol

Unfortunatly tape wont hold a leak on a coolant hose as they pressurise when they get hot.

Im sure a local garage could knock something up as there are plenty of types of hose that will hold coolant, and stand the heat of being by a turbo / exhaust.

Have a word with Neil @ Park Garage on the Old Chester Road (647 6430) hes a master at making things fit wink

You cheeky sod! I'll have you know its only 'nearly' worth as much as the car lol

Love it to bits cos its the 1.8 turbo and not many people expect a rover 75 to go fast but this one does cool
