Would anyone have any tips for putting a rear drum back on a ford ka? I've removed it using the 30mm hub nut and can't get the bugger back on over the brake shoes (it slid off quite easily). Is there a trick to do this? as I can't imagine it being that difficult for a servicable part. Can you adjust the shoes to bring them in closer to slip the drum over the top?

Thanks.

You need to release the auto adjust, think it is like two sets of teeth that ratchet together.

Its a while since I attacked a ka - I deleted some of what I said because I think you attack from the front.

This picture HERE has the auto-adjust at the bottom, the two edges that ratchet together
