Wow, Wile E. Coyote would be proud of that one.

I cant see a problem with this on our lovely smooth, pothole free, speedbump free, tarmac honestly-its-not-just-a-load-of-stones-over-the-top-of-the-old-road-surface roads.

What could go wrong?

Isnt there a law against bits of metal sticking from your car?

Then there's the insurance issue.

With one smash they could bend into a set of scythed wheels, watch out peds.

If it were made from a strong but flexible in one direction plastic, believe his idea might work.

Don't quote me but i think it's ok so long as it doesn't stick out further than your wing mirrors ( could be wrong though )
