Bit of a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone would be able to pick me up on the way tonight would they think There's no way I can walk up to that end and there's no buses. I'm looking into taxi's but bloody hell they're expensive frown

You could've got in with me, I ended up not going because I didn't have anyone to go with!! smile
I've just got in now. It was fookin fabulous!! I caved in by the clown roundabout and got a taxi home as I couldn't physically walk another step. It took me 36mins to walk from the start line, by the next roundabout up, to the clown roundabout. I'm officially fubard.

If the nice man who offered me a lift is reading this - Thank You so much Sir!! It's nice to know there are still some nice human beings on the planet! I would have taken you up on your offer had I not already called a taxi. You are a gent and a scholar, and should I ever see you out I shall buy you a pint!! And Thank You to the taxi driver who said if I'd called him from my starting position, he'd have picked me up even if I didn't have enough money. You've restored my faith in human nature clap

Bugger frown I never care if I have nobody to go with, nothing comes between me and motorsport raftl
Scrap me saying nothing comes between me and motorsport. I can't get the brace on - knee is too swollen cry I'm now trying to decide if it's worth going without it. It's a mile walk there and back, plus standing for 6hrs. I think the standing will kill me off completely. This will be the 6th I've missed in 25yrs I think.

Wasnt there today, but was at a kids party at the Lazerquest/Bowling bit. Saw a couple of nice cars cruising the prom, including a all black Bentley Continental and a Ferarri 430. Lots of nice sounding engines coming from the rally though.

I know which I would have preferred to be at wink
just got back, what an ace day. did anyone see the photographer get knocked over by a mk2 escort? he was ok by the way

Ow!... I saw the two beemers crash... oops
One of the Beemers, the E36 M3 (66) was the car I was servicing for frown

Got it sorted and back out though wink
was it chris from cr-tech in the e36?
There where 3 E36 M3s, ours was car 66 (was 7th after the SS on Friday night!), driven by Andy Davies and co-driver Neil Philpotts smile
