Hi
We have been looking to buy a Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 Diesel 2010.
Does anyone have any views please, good or bad!

Decent VW diesel engine and looks OK as well, although it always seemed to me like it was trying to be an Evo... but thats just because you don't see many about.

Interior has always let these cars down in my opinion.

Looking at the specs, it seems quite underpowered, I really can't be doing with underpowered cars as they seem more of an effort.

You're looking at least £11k for a bottom spec and for me that's too much. Just my opinion.

Stick your money there, yes it's older but it's a much better option.

Hi Bezzy, not a bad car at all, roomy but centre console, dash looks a bit plastic but no different than the avaerage, Honda, Ford,

2.0L 4 cylinder 16 V DOHC (Double overhead Cam) Fuel works out between 22 - 30 Mpg depending on how it's driven, If you go for the GTS model theres not too much difference exterior styling wise between that and an Evo minus the trademark huge rear spoiler, launch control etc.

The main downside is the interior and road noise other than that it's a little belter

Priced around 13 - 15k

You wanted opinions!!

Also, 30mpg for that car is horrendous. The BMW I posted will do 50 on a run easy. Therefore saving you even more money.

Too new, problems not yet rectified, steer clear!

Thanks guys, I was only joking Nobody!
We have gone for it, pick it up on Saturday. We have a Carisma at the moment 'Y' Reg and has been an excellent car, hense why we are keen to stick with Mitsubishi! It's our second car,so needed a 4 door family type that we can get the old folk in!

Fair play, it maybe a little more than your run of the mill Focus and Astra, but who isnt guilty of spending a little more on something less common?

If youve had one previously, and have been happy, then Im sure the new one will serve you just as well smile
