I bet they are like hens teeth to find now!

they are (in mint condition) hard to find smile

theres a nice rs turbo in a garage on the durley (think its there) its like brand new with ultra low milage but its not cheap at £10,000, probs does some sort of finance option though.

pick them up on ebay in the same condition and less mileage alot cheaper than that one and there not always as they seem in descriptions

that looked a nice xr2 was it beyond repair

check it out, http://www.virtualvehicles.co.uk/

it was written off so i lost interest and sold it, her insurance company paid me £2200, bought it back for £200 and i used it for a bit then sold it, got £750 for it even written off. the chassis was bent.

i use to know the lad who has the garage but seems very pricey to me but would be worth that to someone who wanted it

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Escort1-...t=Automobiles_UK&hash=item56430e57da

this seems a better bargain £3000 cheaper

Nice Xr2, used to have a red F plate years back. Nippy aswell.

As for a Series 2 how about this one....

Also Ste Diamond white Xr2....

Ive also had both - Mk2 XR2 and a 90 spec Series 2 RS Turbo.

Cracking looking cars, and great fun. Bit outdated now though, and I think the only reason Id have one is for the looks, as both have very primative engineering compaired to newer hot hatches frown

Always nice to see a good condition XR2 though smile
