It sounds like its coming from top of the engine perhaps one of the belts the sound is weird it sounds like i have loads of crickets under my bonnet all chirping away ive just had the alternator replaced about 6 weeks ago so shouldnt be that.

Any idea what it could be? Is it something i could sort myself cheap or am i best getting it hauled off to chris gilly haha

possibly the alternator belt needs adjusting, on certain models they need manual adjusting, really hard to guess noises over here, might be cam belt tensioner collapsing,

dont get paid til 11th feb mate so wont be able to afford anything that needs doing til then. hopefully wont get any worse by then
