anyone know roughly how much you'd get for a cavalier to be weighed in? the only catch theres no engine in it!
id deliver it to the yard too smile

i think it's about £70 for a full car ( depending on where you take it ).

probably get about £20-£30 without engine, lol.

you'd be better off stripping it yourself and selling the parts online.

i used to do it with Celica's mainly and it works out quite well if you have the time and space to do it.

good luck either way

Take it to scrap metal yard, then you won't have a bloke umming and ahhing about price because it's missing stuff. Take things like electric window motors, windscreen wipers, etc out. Does it have mudflaps? There's loads of stuff on it you could sell quite easily.

go onto the likes of migweb and do an add for parts forsale, window motors, steering rack, all windows etc. Even window/door seals if any good.

Once any good parts taken off go to Mccoys and weigh it in, don't fill the petrol tank with water as next time he will not give you a good price. Plus their not soft. If it has a Cat take that off before going in, go back the next day and weigh it in.
