Crap!

Just managed my mandatory 3 laps in qualifying before blowing off a boost hose.

I retired 11 laps in to the race with a misfire that was getting worse (Turned out to be a split samco boost hose)

Lol we where lapping the white Fiesta, but the blue on has a 2.0 Zetec lump on TBs and weighs 750kgs and is a pretty nippy motor

Stu i was watching Channel 5 the other night and it had a Sunbeam which is on one of the photo's in the link you have put up, is your car in the same series as this?

IIRC the other cars on track were 2 sierra's (sapphire and thunder saloon 3dr) also a M3 E30 and an E36 Evo M3

Yeah, the Orange and black Sunbean won the Championship this year driven by Joss Ronchetti. He also does other series.

Just for a ideao ho quick that Talbot is, around Snetterton hewas just under 2 secs off the touring car lap times

Same championship - yes, though the 2 BMWs are in Class B - Im class C along with that Talbot Sunbeam

Doesnt the black and Orange sunbeam have the most powerfull NA lotus 2.2 based engine ever? Although now its like 2.6 on ITB's with 340 something bhp?

Its a 2.7 on good ol' fashion carbs
