right ive been looking at buying an obd wire for my laptop anyway i seen this one for VAG's

anyway i was thinking could i get this lead and download the software for any other car manufaturer and it would work? if you get me

I think so - on German cars anyway. I think the TIS software does this, I have a Vauxhall TIS and it has the same OBDI/II interface.

yeah have the bmw TIS i dont fully understand the description ive emailed them anyway, but ive found a proper one for all makes of cars for a few pound dearer so ill most prob get that! saves the hassle hey! cheers bud
