Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has launched a scathing attack on Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix.

Renault's Fernando Alonso took victory at the Marina Bay circuit but Ferrari drivers Filipe Massa slipped from pole to 13th and Kimi Raikkonen crashed out.

"When we race on tracks which should be used for the circus, anything can happen," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"This is humiliating for F1 and it is an aspect I want to talk about with the other teams in the next few weeks."

F1's first night race drew rave reviews from spectators but drivers complained about how bumpy the track was, particularly off the racing line, which made overtaking difficult on a street circuit hemmed in by barriers.

Boooo Hooo.....We had a crap race, so the track must be to blame!!

Ive seriously had enough. They are racing drivers, theyre meant to deal with things such as bumpy tracks. Next, well see that the WRC will complain that Gravel Rallies are too rough or something!!!!

Seriously! Instead of making the shittest excuses for having a terrible weekend of racing, maybe they should address the fact that at the moment, they are the most dangerous F1 Team in the world. I take my hat off to anyone who works for Ferrari, because I know I wouldnt want to risk being twatted by a fuel hose every race.

I agree about the bumpy track part.

These cars run so low, and stiff that small bumps really upset the cars, and a street circuit really isnt made to the same standards as an FIA track.

...however, all teams where racing under the same conditions, so there really isnt much he can moan about.

Ferrari should sue the Singapore government and be given a special award, just so they don't feel sad and upset. The FIA should intervene and make sure this happens. (sarcasm).

Thankfully, the FIA have sided with Ferrari:

Quote
Following unfortunate misunderstandings in the Grands Prix at Valencia and Spa, the FIA has revised the Red Car Rule for Formula 1. These amendments will be applied with immediate effect:

1) Overtaking a Ferrari is not permitted under any circumstances.
2) In the pit lane, a Ferrari always has precedence over other cars.
3) Any driver finishing less than 25 seconds ahead of a Ferrari will be penalized 25 seconds.*
4) If neither Ferrari finishes in first place, the stewards reserve the right to declare the result null and void (or to adjust it as necessary).
5) Only Ferrari drivers are permitted to use anything other than ‘designated’ parts of a circuit.
6) If forced off the ‘designated’ part of the track by a Ferrari, the guilty driver should immediately crash his car and return to the pits
6) Any driver or team appealing against any FIA decision in favour of Ferrari may be subject to a fine and/or the deduction of points.
*Subject to post-race adjustment by the stewards.
