Thats Maddas car off the SXOC - its up for just under £8k on there.
Nicely built car - can imagine it would be "interesting" to drive on the road
like mine only quicker!! (2 way, coilovers etc = interesting)
not sure how much to goto on it???
looks quality... inside and out.
Theres definately a lot of money spent on that car, come on, hes even flocked the dashboard !!!
Can you not send him a private message, saying u really want the car, and settle on a price??
Yeah but he is stickin to his guns on a price at the mo...
Did he budge on the car matey
Looks to be a pretty popular car at the moment on the SXOC...
I was talking to Joe about it also last week / over the weekend, but after a good hard think over the weekend, I think Ill be backing down from what appears to be a 3 horse race (or thats how many other serious partys he said there where interested).
TBH I think he is a little unsure about selling it anyways, though from what he was saying, the best option seems to be to let the auction run on ebay - highest bidder wins....
Well i have a feeling you maybe seeing this car in the flesh so to speak

Ive seen the car before, and spent a while on the phone to Joe about it - we had had dealings with cars about 2 1/2 years ago.
I think I got carried away with the idea, but the reason I got rid of the GTR and the 180 eventually crept up with me lol

Got this yeserday and its got issues...I have asked for my money back! This is a copy of the email I have sent him..What do you guys think?????
I NEARLY CRASHED ON THE WAY HOME!
About 20 miles from home yesterday the traffic infont of me came to a stop, I braked and the pedal felt spongy and went towards the floor. In the panic I swerved violently and just missed two stationary cars. I had to use the handbrake to stop! I pulled over and on examination the rear brakepipe (as you look at the master cylinder) is wobbling loose (moves 1cm back and forwards) in the master cylinder and this has been like this for some time as there is evidence of brake fluid corroding the pipe and union in that area.
Luckily I was only going about 25mph. If I had been going really quickly, however, I would not be here to tell the tale!!
My neighbour is a copper and he said that the brakes, the fact that the car pulls to left all the time, and the smell of burning oil whenever you bring it on boost are all classed as dangerous and make this an unroadworthy vehicle. He said I am legally entitled to my money back as it is against the law to sell a dangerous car as roadworthy in this country. This is what I want from you(my money back).
I realise you probably didn't know about this (I hope) as the brakes have not done this to you, but a dangerous car is no good to me.I know this is only a drift car but is supposed to road legal as well and its so fast you need to be able to depend on the brakes (which I can't now).
Also I asked you if anything needed fixing or attention and you did not mention these..
nearside rear tyre scrubbed badly on outside edge
both doors need slamming to shut them
Speedo reads half what it should
rear tailgate has been sprayed by Stevie Wonder
bonnet alighnment is terrible as is wing fitment
radio ariel not working
Fan switch gets hot, and nearly melted
drivers side window seal knackered
offside front repeater hanging out by wires and not working
throttle linkages iladjusted
I have done alot of buying and selling cars myself and would not dream of selling this car to anyone in it current state, I look foward to your response.
Don't worry I will not mention this on the boards.
Thanks, Chris.

didnt you say he wanted to swap for your civic chewy
No, it was a deal with the S2k, but I backed out as I had my reservations.
Dont get me wrong I could get this car upto MY stardards but it needs alot of time and effort and i would want the money back from him to fix ALL of the problems..
Be interested to hear what Joe has to say...
Did you not check/take it for a test drive it over before you drove it away??
If he failed to mention the problems you listed, then you were sold it under false pretenses, but unless you have it in writing that he didn't know of any problems beforehand, then AFAIK, a verbal agreement means shit all?
This one tickled me though
"rear tailgate has been sprayed by Stevie Wonder"
No mate took it on his word that all was good.(he prides himself on his word and honesty)
The law in this country states that a vehicle that is sold as roadworthy(ie mot'ed etc) must be safe to drive ie brakes, steering, windows, seatbelts lights etc must all be 'safe' to use on the road.
If you sold a car with the problems I have mentioned would you not feel guilty and responsible if I had an accident on the way home??
sounds to me like the guy's a turd.
id ask for the money to repair the problems the car has!
Got a chunk of money back...let the project begin...
Good Stuff, keep us updated Chris
