i'm trying to find a place that does a egr pipe for an nissan s14. I know that they done away with it for the 14a as it was not needed. Or how do i get rid of it all together?, new manifold?
didnt want to give it away on there about a potential purchase of a car. If that makes sense lol
New manifold matey.
Got one here I think I you want to do away with the EGR all together.
cheers stu, not sure if i will get it due to its boost problem. Dont want to be forking out for repair's that i dont know how much will cost.
There are 4 that i'm toying with the idea of getting. Might just go for the most standard one.
The EGR is an emission control addition, and the cars dont need them anyways - they will pass an MOT on emissions without it.
If its a problem with boost, unless the manifold is blowing at the EGT take off, it wont be your problem...
You can blank them off, I'm sure that's the same as Nissans?

....no such thing
Its like a unicorn or mermaid - mythical beasts
Is it as soon as you take a spanner to them?
Its just the general nature of a turbo charged car, and the nature in which they are driven.
Any turbo'd is pretty highly strung, and drive them hard and your gonna get problems.
