Lol, it looks just an updated concept version of the new focus, very much alike the Iosis concept.

If they ewant to bring the Escort back, they will be playing with fire imho, as it had a terrible reputation after the Mk3 (iirc?) shite, and although the later Mk's began to make up for it, it couldnt recover from its tarnished reputation.

I think they may go for an altogether new name, but bringing back Escort wouldnt be all too bad, so long as they move away from the "cheap and tacky" reputation it endured prior to the Focus's release.

I like the concept of the design, not sure how realistic 100mpg is though lol, even a hybrid would push for 70mpg, unless Ford know something we dont...

Wssnt there an Escort in the N.America market that was different to ours? Maybe thats what they mean?
