Tony...i personally disagree...i think it depends solely on whether or not people know a good car when they see it
But your opinion of a good car probably differs from 99% of the population, so a car you consider to be a good car, doesnt mean that it is a good car because in your words you are one of the people who knows "a good car when you see it", its just your opinion.
There are plenty of people from the older generation who will argue the Morris Minor 1000 was good car, and that they know "good car when they see it", but it doesnt mean it nessescarily is, and certainly not that everyone should think it is, otherwise they don't know "a good car when theys ee it".
