WIERD One this...

When driving my saab and it gets warm, the gears move??? i mean 1st = 3rd
3rd = 5th
no reverse
its almost as if the gears have all moved to the left.

Pull over, turn the car off, wait about 1-2 mins start the car and they`re back to normal???

Can anyone shed any light on this?? think

Ps: H reg Saab 9000 Turbo 2.3 16 Valve Manual

Now that is strange?

Is there any play in them when its idle?
Same as above but engine off?

How long has the problem existed?
Did it start over night or just get worse?

I'm no expert, but I'm guessing it might be the gearbox mounts?

If so, could be a relatively cheap and easy fix using uprated Polyurethane bushes

Nice one, have to check that (i was booting it) sorry
That will explain why after a couple of mins the gearbox works properly again! (may need time to settle).
