Last night there was the latest lax flower kicking around the crewroom at work,i picked it up expecting to have a good laugh at the chavs.....i was hugely shocked tho as its all changed. All the cars in there were a)good cars to start with b)well modified in their own individual way. such as an NSX done up all JGTC style. included with the magazine was a supplement called "the new rules of modifying", in this it describes the 10 rules of modifying and also described all the styles of modifying (of which there are loads these days)

the rules are obvious really,in the new days of less is more

a few rules

"work with the lines of the car, not against them" so no more delta bodykits on curvy cars (no more delta kits at all IMO lol)
"no flip paint,as it looks shite" u werent saying that a few years ago maxxy bois
"less is more" a car that takes a second glance to make out as modified can actually be better looking than a car that has every single panel and part changed or customised

found out a lfew of us guys modify our cars in the OEM style, the non jap equivalent of JDM style, fitting parts to our cars that keep the "made by ford/vauxhall" look while tidying it up a bit
i know my plan is to make it look as tho ford made it,with 95% of the parts having ford stamps on them, and i know lawtons car looks sweet even tho the body is OEM vaux parts, the second most popular style for the CW guys seems to be the drifter stle,that all the 200 boys are doin.

all depends on wot you want to be honest max power an the other mags fast car, revs, redline ect are all about modifying cars to look good i know sum of them have big bhp. but if i wana look at drift cars i get the jap mags . Max power an the other mags are there to make money an will go where ever the market goes an now its turning to jap cars an drifting as its getting huge. it wont be long before it all goes onto sumtin else

They've gone all Japanese now they've seen Tokyo Drift. It's as crap as it's ever been, I'd buy Gay Times and Max Power so I could cover MP up with GT, so no-one would see.

well i thought it was pretty obvious you tool, if you read max power you are obviously a chav, with the intensions to put stupid lights and stickers on your cars to impress girls half your age - trust me ive done it !
