I suspect hardly anyone is interested in trams and buses,l and I'd be very interested to know how much public money has gone into this museum and its trams and overhead wires.

Well I enjoyed seeing those old yellow buses again and I imagine a lot of people who used to travel on them would find it interesting to compare how we used to travel as opposed to what's on offer now. Any way of checking visitor nunbers to see if what you suspect is correct, I wonder?

As they get donations of around £40,000 a year there must be a fair bit of interest.

I'm not sure if the Council has handed over all the assets to Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society as yet. The whole thing has been in limbo one way or another for many years.
