World Mental Health Day

To help mark the occasion,
Wirral Mind will be organising various activities for you to get involved in!
· Come along and sample free cakes from around the world.
· Start your Christmas shopping by visiting Rosie’s Crafts and our Mindful Chic Boutique.
· Relax with a free hand massage followed by a free manicure (book early to avoid disappointment).
· Join our free 5 ways to wellbeing workshop 1:30pm – 2:30pm.
· Join our free Yoga Workshop 2:45pm – 3:45pm.
· Help celebrate our 50th Anniversary by making your mark on our Lambanana.

Popped in briefly for a croissant and Jamaican ginger cake. Little café there ..useful to know if working nearby . tea 40p coffee 60p......Council Parking £1 .Sandwiches and other snacks and breakfast snacks reasonably priced

I doubt 'random people' would get past the Reception Desk to be honest, other than for public events.
I think the ethos of this event was to raise awareness of the services available rather than a 'free for all stuff yourself with 'free' cake' type thing!

As much as I am into a "free for all stuff yourself with free cake type thing" I do have personal family reasons for finding out about the place and what they can do..picked up couple useful leaflets and hope to attend a particular course when it runs again. Unfortunately the gifty things they had for sale were tadge girly and I am no good picking gifts for wife..usually get it wrong. Judging by the service users I was chatting to and sharing a cake with it looks like a helpful place for many of them..
