I came up today and visited the Williamson to book for the Tranmere tunnels talk on 10 Sept. Discovered that, although they're asking you to book and had had several enquiries, they hadn't even started a list: well, now there's a list and I'm No.1 on it.
I also spent some time, and quite a lot of money, in Oxton Books, which has been set up in the museum. It's a great resource for local history stuff.
