This was my first real event and I had a good laugh. Arrived later than everyone else because I went to watch the tranmere match, so didnt get there till about 8:00, just intime for hurricane chav, Half way through puttin the tent up :go:
Where do you start ??

  • Convoy There :

Started well and then went a little crazy, we had to stop to give Pingu's car a little T.L.C. Once we got underway again the convoy kinda split 4 ways, Crazy people, i somehow managed to overtake everyone and take the lead and bring us all back together (A little luck involved also) and then Paz and TonyMK2 managed to join us once again. Back on the road again, about a 20 car convoy, looked really impressive from the back as we were going through all the windy roads through wales. The roads just got smaller and smaller leading eventually onto single track roads, where the hell were we ?? Very steep hills and bends everywhere. Took a while but landed at the campsite eventually.

[*]<font size="2" face="Arial,Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Arrival at the campsite :

Once we got there it was all hands on setting up the show-tents and BBQ and lighting etc etc. With everyone helping out the whole set-up was ready within 30 mins or so and the BBQ was on the go providing some much needed food to keep us going.
A Few early starters on the beer at Mid-Afternoon :go: :go:

Well what can i say apart from happy top marks too the chef!
Had a quick natter to a few of you, you know who you are, then had to make my way home after about 2 1/2 3hrs as Mother was getting very poorly frown

Sorry that we had to go but my wife come's first with her health..............

Hope to do it again though sometime and really looking forward to the next big cruisewirral camp happy
see you all at the next meet next week, till then take it easy

happy happy

Regards
Tony

So like Scooby say’s we set off and headed for Wales, as the GPS lead the way.
So only 2 mins into Wales and penu’s breaks decide to bind on a little,
so we all pulled over, fixed the problem and continued on.
Meesh done his own convoy for a while lol happy

No problems after that but what a ride, the ‘B’ Road we used should have been a “d” road,
what a ride man, alton towers would have been proud of some of those dips.
And eventually popped out at the campsite.
What a great bloke the owner couldn’t do enough for us all thank you.
Setting the show tents up is always a laugh as its almost like a race,
as team “a” and team “b” see who can set up the fastest.
[Linked Image]

But its so funny as members switch sides as one takes the lead from the other lol.
Reading the instructions for those tents is a laugh in its self,

[Linked Image]
So the tents are up and everyone is parked up and the party begins,
in earnest, who ever earnest is lol.
thanks to Jim and Vicky for the extra wine too.
24lt of sangria help

Now is a good time to watch the video again Click Me

As Chav hit andy shouts "Save the sangria" lol

<b>Andy "She gonna blow"
"I dinny think she's going to make it captain"

"Give her everything weve got...." <img border="0" alt="[I surrender]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions075.gif" />

[Linked Image]

Were hanging on to the tents for dear life,
paz and Scooby even said in the mayhem that if they go they go lol…

[Linked Image]
The sound on the video was the noise of the rain pelting down,
like a waterfall on the tents and the mayhem, this wasn’t funny, but it was also? doh

So well into the early hours we all slowly driffed off to bed in our various ways
and the night wasnt over,
wondering if chav would re-appear in the night again?

But not before the night time silly games begun,
Dilberts car was alsmost shrink wrapped while he was sleeping in the car.

Some one with a union jack tent with a silver rover w
as doing some seat swapping as the torches shined in there...
I think we spolied the moment lol.

Chis decided to visit aggy's tent unanounced, with a extra foot from tim to help in there.

Chris and Andy keeping the entertainment going into the night with there antics.
Andy revived the "turbo song" but really needed rick for the harmony's lol..

Its the strangest thing to be laughing by yourself
and the banter between the tents is hilarious, so funny. laugh

A couple of desprate members went looking for a welsh girlfriend in the night,
as they were told there easy to spot?
There wearing wooly jumpers and say Barrrr when they want you lol (sheep).
Tim found the river, well one leg did lol..
The morning after.
And the tents are still there. laugh
We later found out that,
apparently poor sporty was chucking up for England,
and blamed it on a bad apple in the sangria,
and also Danni (snowflakes g/f) was also poorly in the morning.
But both recoved in no time after a bit of TLC.

So coffee’s on to cure a few bad heads lol…
And the bacon butties for all,
to start the day,
so I was still finishing off breakfast as the tents came down around me,
great team work by all. hi to wales for a while but not forever.

[Linked Image]

So everyone got on the bridge as Thomas passed underneath, chavin as it passed.
And a few got smoked out lol…

[Linked Image]
No real drama’s on the way home,
but we didn’t half turn heads as we passed through the welsh villages. :go: :go:

well were to start, things just seemed to get better and better for me this week!

I get kicked out the house, and end up in wales with my missus and 40 other drunken dudes!

Well the convoy there seemed to be givin me a sense of "day ja vou" (however its spelt lol)as we seemed to be going in circles and not getting very far any time soon, but it was worth the wait......

Would like to say thanx to.......

Pingu for leading a great convoy there especially when using a handbrake as your only means of stopping

Jimbo 4X4 for use of his tent..(dont worry mate, we looked after it 4ya wink )

Webmaster for the quality cooking and not telling me to buzz off wen i asked him to start cooking at 7 in the morning lol!

Scooby For taking the rap when the whelsh dudes came and started to kick off about the alarm call!

Sporty Yellow Thanks for keeping me goin with the fags dude!

And thanx to everybody else this was a top weekend, you made it what it was!
What a top weekend. Great to see everyone there, and great to see everyone getting on and enjoying themselfs.

Loved the convoy down there, even thou we got split up a couple of times, but we all got back together just in time for the road through the Welsh hills, what fun..lol. Got to the site about 2.30pm, to this nice camp site in the welsh hills, with the river D on one side and a full size thomas the tank engine train and track on the other side.

We all parked up and begin to setup the show tents and the BBQ. We had a little bit of a race putting up the tents, just for fun. Once setup we all sat down for some food and drink. abit later we had a scare with the weather, the wind nearlly took the tents, but we used the van as an anchor. Later on Web Doode and Scooby got out the sangria, 24 litres they made. From that you know it was going to be a good night. As the night went on, we where all siting down for some food and lots of drink, and not forgetting the banter, when the hurrican stuck, one minute sitting there, next minute diving to grab a pole to keep the tents down. This lasted about 15 min then the night went back to normal and on with the fun. I went to bed about 12, just to wake about 7.30am to the site of the welsh hills and one by one the others waking up with bad heads, me included.

After some breaky and a sit down, we set to the task of packing up. This went smooth, we where all ready and packed up to go about 12. We then left in a convoy home. Scooby lead us home and managed somehow to keep us together all the way back to the M53. You should have seen the faces on some of the welsh people as we all roared passed on a sunday afternoon...lol. when we got to the M53 that is where we split off, going our own way home. All in all a great weekend

P.s Special thanks to Web Doode for the BBQ.

Also thanks to Web Doode, Scooby, Tony, Paz and the other Mods for there time and hard work.
Cheers mav lad,
Thanks for taking the instructions for the tents off me as we started to loose lol happy

Your help, saving my neck was appreciated.
