Wheel To Road are recorded by the Max Power Results on the Rolling Road.
A calculation on Peco Rolling Road to obtain the BHP At the Fly Wheel is calculated as follows.

Front Wheel Drive
Wheel + 10 / .9 = BHP at the Flywheel.

Rear Wheel Drive
Wheel +10 / .88 = BHP at the Flywheel.

Fly wheel results are typically what is found when cars dispaly a BHP Result.

The above calculation is only correct with Peco's Rolling road Results.

Top day really enjoyed it had to go at 12 cos i had footy otherwise i would have stayed all day. GUTTED at how low my bhp figures are but with the engine clocking 150,000 not really a suprise. 200sx sounded and looked sweet been thinking of buying one for sometime now and hearing it today has defo made my mind up. yes

Cheers cruisewirral and peco for doing that if you didnt go you defo missed out on a topday.

Brilliant day, great laugh and fun to watch. Interesting too to see everyone's BHP results, Dave's lotus was crazy happy

Really enjoyed the day, thanks to the peeps who arranged it all, top day thumbsup
Good day. It was touch and go as to whether my exhaust CAT pipe would be fixed. My Lotus specialist made me up a pipe with thanks to help from my mate who travelled in the way from Hull to provide the pipe to fix it.
Well chuffed with the results, more than I was expecting. Standard on mine is 300BHP. So an extra 33 BHP just for a Decat pipe and K&N panel filter. As for a percentage it won't be any where near the improvement of the 200SX.
I wet myself on the first run as I never seen or been to a rolling road.
This is ideal as a benchmark for future mods.
Nice to put names to faces for the next meet!

Iam starting to mod the Vecci so next time will take this to the rolling road for the FW drive out.

It was a proffesional Day from start to finish,
Coffee was layed on by Peco to keep us warm in-between runs.

If your wondering why the Cruisewirral Van didnt get a reading it wouldnt fit under the door frown

Dave was kind enough to show us underground,
what makes a rolling road.
To start a Pit about 5ft Deep.
Look at the siz of these Roller :go: :go:
Put my name down for the next one. Will try and bring the Vectra instead. Need to start modding this beforehand. Going to start on the air filter and decat like the esprit.

What a Great Day, Thank You Peco.......

Well, where can i start :go: :go:
Posted By: jimbo4x4 Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 7th Mar 2005 4:34pm
Don't laugh! I might have come last but at least I've retained the original bhp of the old engine, which is good considering the diesel is only meant to have 59bhp at the flywheel. I know I've made a big improvement on torque, just wish I could've had it measured frown

Was fun though, and I'm glad I've not lost any bhp with the engine conversion.

Wicked day everyone! I got there pretty late on with Jimbo but still had a laugh - just got there to see the big red machine on the rollers, awesome mate! My car did pretty much what i expected nice to see lots of people turn up too. Might have to do a few modifications before the next one - at least it will give me an idea on how much i have improved it, Well done everyone for a great day and a big thanks to Peco! thumbsup

You have the right idea matey, Get a rolling road figure to start with and then you can see exactly how much improvment your engine mods have made thumbsup

I bet Dazza and Meesh wish they had a rolling road figure for there old engines so they could compare the power increase by doing there engine conversions
smack

What does Cough Cough Scoob sorry mean ????
Iam going to bring the Vecci for the next one. want to have a try at the FWD title. I will try and do some mods beforehand. It's running 210BHP as standard so I have a head start!
Posted By: scoop Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 7th Mar 2005 8:51pm
that engine mustve been leakin like the clappers to empty itself in the few weeks its been in the car, i reckon meesh drank it all or has been drinkin it all lol
Posted By: Scooby Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 7th Mar 2005 10:17pm
Yeah, its was leaking oil badly. We done an oil & filter change free of charge when we fitted the second-hand engine...

All that oil gone in a matter of weeks. Believe it or not your meant to check your oil level weekly. Also we advised all members taking part to ensure there tyre pressures and oil level were correct before turning up on the day.

Its a good job Peco are thorough and check the cars prior to putting them on the rolling road or Meesh could have had a seized engine think
Posted By: AX_125 Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 8th Mar 2005 12:43pm
Apparently my oil was nearing the minimum, needs a service, but i spent the majority of my service money on the Rolling Road lol.

Kind of wished i had of took the AX on the rollers, would be interesting to see the actual power of that, i recon it was more than 60BHP as it was rapid compared to any other 1.1 AX/Saxo
Posted By: spinking Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 8:58am
OOOOOOOOOOPS Hadnt noticed till the otherday that i had broke two engine mounts (must have been my donuts) thank god the engine didnt fall out on the day. Will have a cam and a chip nextime we go may even if the money is ok have a new engine from a 328 inthere. Wished i could have had time to see superdaves car on.
Posted By: Dazza Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 12:40pm
88BHP 1.6 (est)
126.7 2.0

An increase of 38.7 BHP - Check my Modified Topic to find out more/why.

Not bad eh? laugh
Posted By: AX_125 Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 12:54pm
Standard 123BHP

Rolling Road: 131BHP

Increase of 8BHP with no mods by myself.
Posted By: Meesh Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 1:29pm
The original 1.3 engine should have been about 59BHP

so I got a gian of around 17.33 bhp think more work to be done before the next one DEFINATLY! lol
Posted By: spinking Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 2:30pm
Do i get a prize for the most bhp lost. Mine should be 170bhp but with the zorst and the age i was down 6bhp and lookin at my peek power my cars runnin to much air or not enough petrol cos peek power was 5000rpm instead of 6250rpm problems on the way me is thinkin. Still 144 ib.ft of torque isnt to bad for the old girl.
Posted By: Wheels Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 2:51pm
Great day! THANKS 2 EVERYONE THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE. CANT WAIT FOR MY RE-MAPPED ECU TO FIND OUT THE INCREASE IN POWER. ROCK N ROLL! smile
Posted By: scoop Re: Review: 5th March 2005 Rolling Road Day. - 9th Mar 2005 6:12pm
My peak (70.4) was at the perfect amount of RPM, my graph looks no natural and cool, lovin it!! Shame its a low figure but 1400s dont work miracles
