Okay you can see that there are 9 cars in the list,
as one driver hasnt paid in advance.

This is still going ahead
And the only way for this to work is if the drivers above
pay a extra £2.50 on the day per run.
Its that or we have to cancel.

The few drivers that i have spoken too want this
to go ahead as they have been preping for this day.

Sorry but its the best i can do.

How ever if we have a Driver Turning up on the day that
isnt in the list above they will be charged £30 per run.
That's what advanced payments are all about.
And if we get one more i can refund the £2.50 back
to the driver that are in the list.

I know its messy but at least its still going ahead.

its great the atmosphere great, the banter and the what will it get factor.

Ah, we get discounts from Peco with them being local. The next nearest rolling road that caters for 4WD isnt that close tbh, sorry

There are a few quite local, although I've not enquired to the cost. My first RR day was the first one @ Peco ages ago. I'd love to go again, especially with my new car, but it's not the same just going on your own is it? You need the good company of like minded peeps, like the guys on here!

We get it very cheap with peco due to them a)being a sponsor and b)having block bookings. And as we have very few PERMANENT 4WD vehicles on here it'd be silly to go to a 4WD rolling road and pay 10 pound more per head (estimate)

Strange how peco havent got a 4WD roller anyway,how do they get before and after figures on their R&D for scoobys and evos and..............the list is endless

That is incorrect, to be allowed in the CW/Peco Rolling Road league you must compete at the same event on the day everyone else does, unfortunetly.

Your still welcome to come and watch after you have done yours, all I was meaning is that since you havnt/wont have got your Dyno readout from Peco you couldnt enter into the Peco League.

lloks like it will be a good turn out this time some differnt cars than last time. shud jus have enought time to get my boost controller on a manifold an a few other bits am hoping for a high 200bhp. wot does every1 else think they will get

i reckon about 95ish, once I've got a figure, I'll be aiming to improve on it as much as reasonably possible

I am not confirming yet as certain things need to be delt with, I will let you know my decision as soon as.

Providing things go how I plan, I estimate a modest 150bhp - I try to underestimate to avoid disapointment.

Ive been contacted by everyone now and they are still up
for the Rolling Road and Paying before Friday.
Joe contacted me via text saying Russ and his dad are still up for it.
Red 20 has contacted me too.
So up to now it looks like it will be going ahead.
That will be confirmed only on friday / saturday.

Okay this makes it a little difficult and akward.
As 2 people havent paid tonight.

I will have to put off paying Peco Until Monday Now
In the hope that payment comes over the weekend.
Failing that its up to Peco not me if it goes ahead,
with 8 cars Paid up front.

I hope that we can get the money from Russ x2 and the
event will go ahead. If its cancelled then everyone
will get there money back in full.

Or if anyone want to join the list?

To get these prices we have to book in advance.

Okay you can see that there are 9 cars in the list,
as one driver hasnt paid in advance.

This is still going ahead
And the only way for this to work is if the drivers above
pay a extra £2.50 on the day per run.
Its that or we have to cancel.

The few drivers that i have spoken too want this
to go ahead as they have been preping for this day.

Sorry but its the best i can do.

How ever if we have a Driver Turning up on the day that
isnt in the list above they will be charged £30 per run.
That's what advanced payments are all about.
And if we get one more i can refund the £2.50 back
to the driver that are in the list.

I know its messy but at least its still going ahead.

Towing Hook / Towing eye

This is for a mini apparently.


What you would do is remove a cap or even a lens
and then screw in the above.

This is so it can be towed without ripping your body work
to bits. They can be on the front or rear of a car.

If we cant strap your car down to an accesable point,
towing eye or chassi you cant do a run.

I may come along but won't know until Friday.

All checked.

And any towing eyes / hooks so his car can be
strapped down. Not all cars need them but tell pops to check.

I found some example pics to help with the Towing Hooks /eyes.

Front
As you can see its strapped via the Towing eye
and not under the car where the bodywork could be damaged.


Rear
And on some cars they have it on the rear too.


Not all cars have these as there is access under the car
to strap on to somthing solid.

I'm making a new database so you can view the results
on a external web page too.

Hopfully have sorting orders sorted also as its a pain,
i was going to include the make and model,
but the first 2 - 3 runs i dont have the correct info,
and i'm hopless at guesing....

So i will link back to the review of that day
and also to that members mmc if i can find it.

Ive broke the camels back just the sorting orders to
finish as i have all the results from previous
rolling roads included.

I'm hoping that the video quality isnt too bad on my
phone, as i have a gp3 converter now, which will allow
me to change the video into a windows file and then
i can upload them for all to see.

I will have my laptop with me so anyone else
taking phone video's in the gp3 format,
i can bluetooth them off you and host them
