On Saturday October 26 Mersey Ferries are providing a rare opportunity to cruise through Birkenhead Docks and on the River Mersey.

The cruise, which is a fund raiser for the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society, starts and finishes at Seacombe Ferry Terminal and includes a ride on a vintage bus to the ferry from Seacombe for embarkation in Birkenhead Docks.

To book online visit the Mersey Ferries web site at:

You'll have a long wait; he's been banned for trolling.
I think he was actually a she, Chris.

It's good to see the Ferries being regularly chartered for special cruises. My parents went on one recently. It was in aid of New Brighton Heritage Centre. They really enjoyed it, and I'm sure this one will be good too. Won't be able to make this one though as I'll be at the TUC event at Poulton Vics along with Frank. wink
Did anyone go on it? was it any good? I went on the Manchester river cruise it was a load of rubbish, the weather didn't help but caused everyone to pack in the saloons, total overcrowded
not enough seats available, some people had to stand for the 6 hour cruise
