Mathew Street Festival


James Street Station and Water Street entrance will be closed Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August 2011 to prevent serious overcrowding at city centre stations. Merseyrail, have in close cooperation with Liverpool City Council and the police, made some changes to Wirral Line rail services for the two days. This is to ensure people who travel by train to Liverpool City Centre can do so safely and comfortably.

Please use Moorfields Station for Ellesmere Port / Chester train services (Old Hall Street entrance open from start of service until end of service Saturday, Sunday & Monday) and Liverpool Central for New Brighton / West Kirby train services.

Tks for the heads up on that one. Got a crowd coming for it, 11 folks in our house over the weekend so it should be a cracker. At least I haven't got to travel over from Lincoln this year.
