2010 saw the launch of Liverpool Cathedral’s first ever Charity Abseil. Due to the success of the initial abseil Liverpool Cathedral will now be hosting an annual abseil, in order to help support our fundraising initiatives.

The Dean of Liverpool took the first plunge to complete the 150ft free fall drop. Dean Justin Welby said, “Although I was nervous this was an exhilarating experience I would not have missed. The views of both the building and of the city were amazing; I would recommend thrill seekers to have a go!”

Who can take part in the abseil event?
• Anyone over the age of 18 in a good state of medical and fitness health
• No prior experience necessary

Cost
£35 registration fee with a minimum sponsorship of £120
