sounds good...who is Gavin Hunter?

Yes..does sound good. Gavin is a well respected local historian and experienced speaker. He might have the answers to some of the questions posed in the recent thread about the changes in names of the rivers Birket and Fender

Gavin Hunter is well worth going to listen to, and is a very nice guy - very interesting to listen to.

Think I'll pop along to this.

Gavin's also an expert on 'Lever Brothers' and Port Sunlight. So I daresay his talk will include stuff on places like Bromborough Pool.
