Half-term activities at Birkenhead Park - 24th May 2010 11:18am
FAMILIES are invited to join a Merseyside park’s programme of half-term activities.
Family-friendly events will be running at Birkenhead Park from May 31 to June 6 in support of National Family Week.
Senior ranger Anne Litherland said: “People can join us as we hunt out the small creatures which live in the park, or they can make their own mini raft and then see if it floats.
One new activity taking place this half term in the park is a children’s fun dog show on Thursday June 3 between 2pm and 3.30pm.
People can enter their dog into various categories, including “waggiest tail” and “best costume”.
