I am out tomorrow night (Sat 5th) to go and see Ken Dodd at the Floral, New Brighton. To be honest I am use to the likes of Frankie Boyle, Lee Evans, Billy Connolly etc. Those with a little edge...so I have no idea what to expect from Doddy.

I did hear though that Mr Dodd does like to be on stage for at least 4 hours plus...!!!

4 hours? Only when he wants to get to bed early.

He really does keep everyone there for hours past the expected finish time

Have you seen Doddy before Snod? I know Doddy is a great supporter of the new Floral and his humour is a little dated but I think it'll be a good night. I would however like to get to the pub at some time of the night...before they close!!

Paul, take an emergency orange juice bottle with several vodka's mixed in like I do, as I don't believe you will make the pub. Unless of course you go to Tallulas!!!

Thats my plan of attack as I know I won't make the Telegraph or the Nags Head mate!! I've never been to Tallulas so I might pop in and see...

Good idea with the bottles!!

He started at 7pm, had interval at 10pm for 15 mins, finished at 12.30 pm. Was actually a good night.

Went to Tulala's in New Brighton. If you ever wonder where all the Wallasey Chav's go then Tulala's is the place. Full of teen bints in next to nothing catching a death as soon as they go outside.

Will be going again...soon!!

Yes he was, he made light of it during the night.

The "Diddy Men" were actually just kids but a few were absent as they were unwell!!

I have a clip of a magician who perfomed during the show who cut his assistant in half but due to a mechanical fault couldn't put her back together again!! He wheeled her off stage!! Jeez, it was funny!
