Its a crime that they cut this into 4 sections. How many other whole U-Boats are there in the world???

I wont go and visit this for that reason alone.

Little bit of a differentiation here, I think everybody is referring specifically to WWII Uboats and not anything produced after 1945.

actually iam myself disgusted how we have treated this uboat.

I seen the docu how it was found and raised from the sea bed.

was delivered to its place where it is now then this happens its gonna be moved and was chopped into bits.

shame on the people involved.

far too much history has been destroyed on merseyside,it can never be brought back.

we shouldnt do this.

Like I always said, Its history was pretrt lame tbh, It sank in shallow water and no one died, it saw no action....blah blah blah, this has been debated in previous months and the out come was final

Weigh the fooker in.

I think once it was dregded up it should have been given back to the people of Germany, with a nice big bill for the recovery work and delivery involved.

Or, they could have left it intact and had it sticking out of the sand somewhere (end-up), like an Anthony Gorley sculpture. Call it the What U-think-Boat?
