What sort of techno? Like grunge at all - if so I may be interested? Im struggling to think of a type of techno that might fit in with the "hardcore" rythm of things though lol.

Er not really sure as I'm not really keen on anythin other than the hardcore sets.

I don't think its grunge though? Hardcore techno methinks

Just come back from this...my ears are ringing, my feet are blistered, I'm nackered, I lost me t-shirt, I've been awake almost 28 hours, but I feel like I could do it all again.

I thought it was amazing! a couple of people said it was a bit crap though.

It was definately better than SV Tranzmission, but the sets still weren't amazing frown

Got a couple of photies with Hixxy, Re-con (aka Mike Di Scala), Whizzkid and Storm.

Hixxy was walking around the site looking like part of the staff, so no-one recognised him. He walked past me a couple of times and said alright, and then I realised it was him when he wandered backstage. What a top guy and a top DJ thumbsup

And you're right Davey, Cally Gage is gorgeous and shes a top DJ too.

haha that was like 3am after drinking 8 beers, 2 smirnoffs and jumping about for 7 hours in a boiling hot room with 2,000 other people getting my feet stood on by about 50 of them lol

Although I might look it, I didn't and don't take any of that shit lol

Does Storm still do the vocal scratching and the really skillful long ryhmes

Also if that was stlyes, whats happened to Force and MC junior
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: HTID 23 - 4th Aug 2007 - 5th Aug 2007 7:13pm
he does indeed. Although, last night he seems to do it a lot more than usual. It seemed to me as if he was tryna fill in for lyrics.

Still does the long rhymes too, only most I can't understand lol

No idea what happened to force and MC junior.

Think they've just disappeared out of the scene?

Force and Styles made some top tunes though

Vibes and Lively were the pioneers of hardcore tho, whats happened to them?
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: HTID 23 - 4th Aug 2007 - 5th Aug 2007 7:33pm
They were there last night.

Didnt manage to get any pics the the legends, nor did i stay to listen and watch very long as it was way too hot in there and needed to get out and get water between sets

and they go a little something like this:

Why oh why cant you just accept it
Im a raver not a fukcin drug addict
yeah thats right, i go to raves, I really like
Leave me alone, its my life and I can sort it.

When you know were to go when life's kinda slow
You gotta hit raves and let your body lose control
Release the tension and the pressure inside
rock with storm roll with sy

in the concrete jungle when life is getting tough,
what ever you get never seems to be enough
you must carry on, yes you must be strong,
all club together you cant make it on your own.

We've got morales for your mind
We've got this point to be made
im talkin bout the racist attitude in life today
we can work it out so lets get together
black white yellow brown it dont mattercolours only skin deep whats it all about
i cant understand the attitude that people are giving out
to hate race for how they dress or what they eat for food
its bang out of order its dam right rude

yeah thats right, i go to raves, I really like
Leave me alone, its my life and I can sort it.

im the futuristic entertainer,
on the stage is my arena,
mic in my hand, its my light saber
im good like luck but dark like vader
kickin light speed for the wicked raver
24/7, the games true playa
a realist with a view to the future
a fly rhyme with the bassline through the speaker
when i lock n load roll like a tremo
kickin one-zero on the richtor
put s on my chest im feelin super
well i can see right through ya
if ya feel it then let me know
you know how it goes...oh no here we here we
[Ravers] oh no here we here we go oh oh oh oh

They're my fave Storm lyrics.

I prefer Whizzkid though, his electric sounds and lyrics are amazing.

That last rhyme was too new for me, I havent listened too any "new" hardcore since the turn on the millenium.
