And no they're not for scrap, scrapyards won't take them.

Thought you were copper scavenging, its getting very popular again with clean copper above £4 a kilo.

Loads of hobbyists are doing it as a cheap source of copper for their projects. Smelting metals is fascinating.

Interesting, seems like a lot of effort for a tiny bit of copper though.

He is a good lad is Ste. Helped me a LOT including getting the stuff down from the loft. Mrs and me VERY grateful. We now have a bit more space up in the loft ---- to help us sort the remaining junk
