12v battery charger please for a car battery....It is for charging a car battery for model planes etc so nothing too fancy , but I do need one.. Thanks

If the battery for model planes etc. is a small sealed Yuasa type one, using a standard car battery charger could knacker it. A small constant current type charger is what's needed. Yuasa make and sell them, but there's plenty of others on ebay.

Ordinary car chargers seem to be bad nooos for the little batteries used for models etc. Been there...etc...

Thanks for the info,but I am using a 70amp car battery as it lasts a lot longer and more amps can get drawn for the starter to turn the engines.I think my biggest prop is about 16 inch long on an OS 140 pumped.
