of 6mm twin and earth cable or where I might be able to
buy some ???

Don't B& Q do it by the metre ?

I don't think B&Q sell by the metre nowadays but they do have this particular cable in 2 mm lengths £8.49.
Spinner1,in the best possible interest of all I hope you know exactly what you are doing as that cable is for heavy electrical stuff and not to be messed about with.
