as title says

looking for an external hard drive

nothing fancy though, looking to spend no more than say £20-£25 given i can get an 80GB one on ebay, new, for £20 delivered.

i'd ideally like a MINIMUM of 60GB but the sky is the limit as far as max storage goes. but within the budget.

also IDEALLY it will just be USB powered rather than an independent power supply

Or if you have an old laptop hard drive I can convert that to an external drive for about a tenner.

500gig is surplus to requirements for me and no old laptop HDD's sorry

No worries. Can probs do a 100gb for around 27 quid a 120gb for around 30 or a 160 for about 35 if any of them are any good

I can probs do an 80gb but it'd be like £23 so it'd be cheaper to get the one off ebay.
