Im looking for a nice parrot around the 150 mark if possible! thanks
Lee
Be prepared to pay a bit more than that. I have a cockatoo. Nothing really exotic. Just a white umbrella cockatoo. Had her for 17yrs now.(They live for between 70 and 80 years!) At the beginning of this year there was an identical bird for sale complete with large cage in the local pet shop.
It sold pretty fast. Be prepared to fall of your perch here:-
£1,200.00p !!
A macaw (big fellows with the long tail and vivid, bright colours) are quite a bit more.
You may get one a bit cheaper direct from a breeder, but I think you would still have to be reeeeeeel friendly with your Bank Manager !!
no offence but you wont get a good parrot.for that price perhaps a stuffed one or a budgie.maybe a senagal. the smaller of the parrot family.but even they fetch around the 300 pound mark i too have my own .triton cockatoo.cost me 1000 pound without cage
ohh the hubby just told me that there is an affrican grey.still for sale must tell you its a rotty with a beak a biter.it has a small cage.never comes out.the person wants 300 inc cage. but for a bird that bites and untame i would personaly give this one a miss. but i can get you the address if you want i myself had a look at the bird months ago.it had mights a bit of a plucker a preety good talker a shame about its living in a cage all the time.
if interested pm me and i will find the address
