i am looking for a HTC G1 white for my daughter as this is the phone she really wants .

Make sure she REALLY wants one, and although they can be unlocked the software is heavily T-Mobile orientated.

These phones (the G1) had serious flaws from the start, and if you complained enough to T-Mobile (and knew why they had been discontinued) you could get them to exchange it for the G2, which was a faster phone, but had a touch screen keyboard.

Make sure the one you get is working, that the hinges and slide are strong and that the case is origional (the cheap import ones tend to slice the ribbons).
