Have no tv aerial up but there is a sky dish, managed to get a sky box off someone, anyone have a viewing card that they no longer need please? it's only so we can get ch5 and regional BBC etc.

I think the cards are paired to each box.

I thought that they were paired too, but have also been told different. Could buy one yes but if I can do it without paying the £25 to sky then I will, lol. Summer if you have a spare one that I could try that would be great thanks

Pairing is only needed for some of the channels.

I have just installed our HD box and put the card from our Sky+ box into it. Before pairing lots of the channels worked. The ones that didnt were the movie channels and the HD channels that werent free.

All other channels worked ok.

You might be fine to us the card for regional BBC and Five.
