Hi guys!

Am after a 6ft Black Slate Pool Table preferbly in good condition with no tears/marks on the cloth itself. Dont want one of those ones that looks like a decorating table with some wood on it smile Want something thats gonna last a long time!

There was a table at the Birkenhead YMCA shop (where WH Smiths used to be), it wasn't slate but seemed substantial (sort of pub quality) from what I can remember.

Their phone number is 0151 647 1620.

Technically, yes.

However, it's only moved to Borough Pavement. It's taken half of the old Littlewoods store.

offtopic grin

Had a look at the YMCA one, its £150 (bit steep) and not as sturdy as I thought. I was getting mixed up with the nice air-hockey table next to it which is £75, that is better built.

Still had no joy finding a slate bed pool table. Anyone out there got one in good condition?

oddly enough, i was looking at mine last night thinking i must stick it on ebay. its a half size slate bed snooker table in very good condition, complete with pool and snooker balls. slate bed is in 3 parts and each part is a 3 man lift. the bed is around 2" thick. its currnetly on the third floor and taking up too much space in wat is no longer my games room and more of a dumping ground. pm me if you want first refusal.
