Rightway do the yellow ones dirt cheap.

BTW Asda do a retractable firewire cable with two adaptors for £5
Posted By: phalinmegob Re: Wanted : Work mans helmet - 21st Sep 2009 7:26pm
do you think a firewire cable will hold his weight.. lol

I think its a different type of helmet you need for climbing. The climbing ones are a bit different and have a strap to keep it on your head. A building site helmet would likely fall off your head if you had a tumble.

A cycle helmet should do the trick wink
Posted By: bert1 Re: Wanted : Work mans helmet - 22nd Sep 2009 5:46pm
I once get shouted at for not wearing a helmet while there was 50 ton passing above our heads. Aren'T British management wonderful.

If you're only going to buy a cheap one aren't you wasting your money????
If you're wearing it to protect you if you fall 50ft+ then I don't beleive something that cost £3 is going to do the job.
Just a thought............

If you fall 50 foot and land on your head, you won't have to worry how much the fookin helmet cost.
Posted By: UrbanEx2U Re: Wanted : Work mans helmet - 22nd Sep 2009 7:58pm
The answer is he will not fall smile
Posted By: Jamie_LFC Re: Wanted : Work mans helmet - 22nd Sep 2009 8:00pm
And tbh iv been told that helmets can cause more damage to the brain if you fall actually smile get a medium priced one (^^)

1 If you fall if its cheap it will break and wont cause damage to you and kill you, or wont and youll survive smile

2 if its deer(SP) it wont break and will damage you or save you
