I need a 30m2 wing and a powerful motor (150cc plus 2 stroke and a 1300mm prop) Static Thrust 60Kg (132lbs) would be great.

Rotax (Who do Kart engines if you remember), are one of the leading exponents for light aircraft engines etc.

Id say check them out, but they can be expensive.

I wouldnt suggest buying second hand however... If something goes wrong up there, then it can really go wrong.

Do you not also need a licence???

Rotaxness.....

It cant go that wrong - you already have a parachute FFS raftl

Whelan - you must be one of the most mental people I know of grin

Well, it should be ok to an extent...but youll have a heavy load up there, being supported by that Wing/Parachute, without any thrust.

Could get quite hairy

Evevryone turns the engine off at about 30ft anyway so doubt it would be a problem, I have watched 100+ videos now some I am a full expert wink there is a brill video of a guy who runs out of fuel at 9000ft and takes him 30 mins to get back down smile

Aye, would take a long time not having flaps and things to slow the descent.

Theres a guy who builds light aircraft and i think Mono wings in kelvin rd, wallasey. Its the Citroen garage in the row of workshops and garages. Hes called Ray (or Roy!) and he has his workshops upstairs!! Saw a rotax engine on the floor and various aero parts around while ding a job there for him. asked one of the blokes and he told me about him and his aircraft!! Hes doing one at present and wants me to pipe in all the fuel, oil and cooler lines for him when done!!
Hes approachable and chatty when you get him onto his fave subject. Try him, even if he can only point you in right direction!! thumbsup
